About the Author — Mary Rathbone
I am a Lay Reader (Licensed Lay Minister) in the Church of England.
My life has been shaped by both trials and triumphs, and by a deep desire to help others find hope in Jesus. Through challenges and blessings alike, I’ve learned that God often meets us quietly in the ordinary moments of life.
I trained for ministry at the Diocese Theological College and was licensed by the Bishop of St Albans to preach, teach, and lead worship.
For many years I worked at IBM and later ran my own digital marketing consultancy — experiences that taught me to communicate with clarity and connect with people from all walks of life. I now draw on those same skills as I shape this blog.
This is my way of sharing the hope I’ve found in Jesus — through reflections written to deepen, encourage, and strengthen faith. I write about my own walk with God, Scripture, nature, hymns, and the quiet signs of His presence that we so often overlook.
My prayer is that these posts might offer comfort, clarity, and the steady hope of Jesus, wherever you are on your spiritual journey.
Thank you for visiting.
