A Pause between the Seasons of Epiphany and Lent
The Church year is shaped around seasons that reflect the life and ministry of Jesus.
It begins in December with the Season of Advent, followed by the Seasons of Christmas and Epiphany.
We’re now in a short, quiet space between Epiphany and Lent — a gentle pause in the year, you could say.
It is a time to prepare our hearts for the journey toward Easter, which begins with Ash Wednesday on 18th February this year.
