The Surrender Prayer as written by Fr. Dolindo Ruotolo
The Surrender Prayer is a beautiful, comforting and soothing prayer that provides emotional and spiritual strength, particularly in extreme times.
The prayer allows us to feel the closeness of God.
You can click on the video link below to relax and submit all your care and worries to God.
As you listen, imagine you are the voice singing, and the voice that speaks intermittently is Jesus.
You will find that prayer flies in the face of normal human inclination and reason.
It urges us to let go of our problems, stop worrying, and trying to resolve them ourselves, and simply hand everything over to Jesus.
Jesus gave the Surrender Novena to Fr. Dolindo Ruotolo, a Neapolitan priest (1882-1970).
Fr. Ruotolo had extraordinary communications with Jesus throughout his heroic life, a life devoted to God and Holy Mother Mary.
You can find more details about the origins of the prayer here.
John Andrew Schreiner, a musician, composer, arranger, and producer, arranged a musical accompaniment to the original prayer in 2016 and you can hear this in the YouTube video below.

Has helped me through extremely difficult times and now in happy times, draws me closer to God
Thank you so much for this beautiful prayer. I
Found it completely by “coincidence” my life was totally falling apart, and I had no hope. I said it and after I did the eighth and ninth day, I went to mass the next day and was on my way home and saw a phone number that I called and miracles happened above any expectation. thank you so much for putting this beautiful prayer to music, I have passed it on to many people. In gratitude, Jeanne Volk 🙏
